Our King of Kings, we come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace as a massive manhunt is under way in the search of a man pretending to be a police officer who murdered an off-duty Hopkinsville (KY) Police officer during a phony traffic stop. O’ God, the Kentucky Law enforcement community needs an immediate touch of Your Hand to guide the investigators in the apprehension of this cold-blooded murderer. O’ God, as the men and women of the Hopkinsville Police Department and allied agencies are in shock and mourning ever so greatly, we ask for Your amazing grace and mercies to descend upon them at this very emotional time. And as the family of this officer are just learning of this heinous crime and loss of their loved one, we ask You to surround them with Your Angels and embrace them with Your Arms of love. O’ God, we ask you to grant the investigators supernatural wisdom to locate and arrest James Kennith Decoursey. As a manhunt is underway, may You raise up witnesses and others to assist the investigators to swiftly locate this suspect. May You protect every law enforcement officer in Kentucky and the surrounding states from being harmed by this suspect. And should this suspect attempt to use his weapon on any citizen or officer, may You cause his weapon to misfire or malfunction. May You also cause this suspect to be confused and fatigued and unable to sleep or rest until he is apprehended. Surround every Kentucky law enforcement officer with Your Angels and Your hands of protection. And as the Hopkinsville Police Department will now be having to prepare a final farewell for their fallen officer, may You draw hany unto the love of Your Son. May every law enforcement involved in this manhunt know Your Word says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
