Our Father in Heaven, we come into Your Presence, O’ Lord to lift up these three law enforcement officers who were injured/bitten/beaten in different incidents. We are thankful to You that their wounds/injuries were not life-threatening. As Officer Black sustained head injuries and was hospitalized, we ask You, Lord, to continue to provide him the best medical care and bring bout a full recovery. As a Douglas County Deputy was forced to use his firearm to save their lives and prevent from being stabbed, we ask You to grant the Georgia Bureau of Investigations with wisdom to piece together the details and facts of this deadly encounter. We lift up these three peacemakers into Your arms of love. May Your love, grace, peace, comfort and Presence be with these officers as they cope with the aftermath of these deadly encounters. And as their families are supporting and loving them through these incidents, may You draw them all ever so close to Your Side to intimately know Your peace and grace. May Your words bring comfort to many, ““Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God.” So Lord, in the coming days as these officers recall these near-death encounters, draw them ever so close to Your Side where they can rest in You amazing grace. Preserve their hearts and minds from enduring any long-term or short-term emotional trauma. May these incidents provide training to other officers across America, in the name fo Jesus, Amen.
