Our Merciful Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up our brothers and sisters with the North Haven Police Department in which six officers were injured in an intentional explosion designed to hurt or kill them during a SWAT stand-off. We first want to lift up all of these injured officers into Your Arms of Love as several may have been seriously injured. May You continue to place the correct medical specialists in their paths to provide the best medical care to bring about a full and complete recovery. We also seek Your love, grace, mercy and comfort upon the families of this officers and sustain them with Your Holy Spirit. May You wrap Your arms of love around them and bring them Your Peace that passes all understanding. May Your grace and mercy touch the countless other law enforcement colleagues who have been emotionally and spiritually challenged at this near-death incident upon their co-workers. O’ Lord, we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem according to Your Word. As the North Haven Police ar still at that scene, may Your protecting hand be upon every one of Your peacemakers and encamp Your angels around them. May You grant the investigators wisdom in all aspects of this investigation to vigilant and cautious in all that they do. May they know Your Word says, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” Lastly Lord, as this attack has affected so many, may Your Holy Spirit bring peace to their hearts and spirits. May You reveal the love of Your Son in the hearts of countless law enforcement officers and draw them ever so close to Your Side. May many law enforcement officers know Your word says, “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. “O’ Lord, continue to reveal the love of Your SON in the hearts of countless law enforcement officers in North Haven and across America. May You use other Christian officers and chaplains to share Your Love, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
