Our Father in Heaven, We earnestly come before Your Throne of Grace, Lord, to lift up Republic of Malta Police Officer Simon Schembri who was dragged and struck during a confrontation with a man. As this officer (who is married and a father of 3) is currently being treated at a hospital, we ask for Your supernatural touch to be upon him and, even now, begin the healing process for his many injuries. May Your grace and mercies protect his mind and entire body from any long term emotional trauma. May you grant the medical doctors with supernatural wisdom and insight to effectively diagnose and treat his injuries and restore him to complete health. May your Holy Spirit settle upon this officer’s mind and body and may Your amazing grace and peace sustain him. May Your peace, comfort, mercy and grace especially touch his wife and family as they support him at this difficult time. And may Your peace that passes all understanding gently settle upon the members of the Maltese Police and especially his close co-workers who responded to this collision scene. May Your peace gently settle upon their minds and hearts and may they be drawn close to You for comfort. We are so thankful the suspect was taken into custody, Lord, and ask You to grant the investigators wisdom and insight as they investigate this attack on one of Your servants. And if any officers or family members might be struggling emotionally or spiritually at this time, may Your Holy Spirit sweetly settle upon them and draw them ever so close to Your side. May Your blessings and Your gentle touch continue to be upon Officer Schembri and draw him close to Your heart. And if he does not know You personally, may he know that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
