Our Gracious Lord, We come with deep hearts of thank before Your Throne of grace to lift two more of Your wounded peacemakers. We are so thankful that their lives were spared as the news reports one officer is in serious condition and the second has less serious wounds. O God, our hearts go out to the entire San Diego Police Department as they endure this senseless and intentional assault on two of their co-workers and several firefighters. May Your mercies and healing touch be upon both of these officers. May You make available the correct medical professionals at the hospital and grant them supernatural wisdom and insight to provide to most effective treatment to bring about a full recovery and healing to both officers. May Your mercies settle upon both officers and may Your peace be made ever so real in their hearts and minds because of Your love and grace. May Your arms of love especially surround the families of both officers as they are at the hospital supporting them at this very emotional time. May You be a Shield around them be the lifter of their hearts and minds. May Your hands of protection, mercy and grace be with the many other law enforcement officers who were involved in that deadly incident in which the suspect apparently committed suicide. Surround every law enforcement officer with Your Protecting Arms and keep them all safe from any harm or danger at all times. May You cause the suspect to be quickly located and then peaceably surrender. Finally, may Your mercy, grace and peace especially touch the men and women of the San Diego Police Department who responded and assisted in that investigation and may You prevent any officer from enduring any long-term emotional trauma. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be available to pray for and support their co-workers at this time of distress. May many officers, family members, friends and co-workers be drawn to Your Son in whom there is eternal life. If any officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may they know that now is the acceptable time, that now is the day of salvation. May Many receive You as their Savior and Lord. May Your grace continue to touch both wounded officers and bring about a full healing. May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of both wounded officers and if they do not know You personally, may You lead someone to tell them of Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
