Praying for wounded Columbus (OH) Police Officer Robert Lagore
June 30, 2018
4:45 PM pst

Our Merciful Lord, law enforcement officers across American are working diligently to enforce narcotics law in their community just like this incident that wounded Officer Robert Lagore. We, therefore, lift up every law enforcement officer across America to seek You grace and protection upon them and to fill every officer with wisdom and insight to stay safe at all times whenever they serve search warrants. So, Lord, It is with a deep heart of gratitude that we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up Officer Lagore into Your Arms of love and thank you for sparing his life. As the news reports he was shot in the foot, we ask you to provide him with the best medical care to diagnose his wound and to restore the full use of his foot. May You raise up the correct medical specialists to be able to treat and fully restore him as good as new. As we know this incident was traumatic for this officer and other officers where were present, may your peace, love, grace, presence and joy settle upon Officer Lagore and those present and draw them ever so close to the Cross of Christ. May Your grace prevent any officers from having to endure with the emotional and spiritual trauma often brought on by these incidents. And as the family of Officer Lagore are at his side, may Your Holy Spirit encompass their hearts and minds as they come to grips with this near death encounter of their loved one. Grant the investigators wisdom to gather all of the facts involved in this incident. May You use this encounter to remind other law enforcement officers everywhere to continue to remain vigilant at all times. May anyone within the Columbus Police Department who is struggling in their heart know Your word says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”; and, “Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge…” May You use this incident to point many to the cross of Christ, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
