Our Merciful Lord, it is with urgency that we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a critically injured Detroit Police Officer into Your Arms of love. As the news reports indicate his condition is critical, we seek Your Presence and healing power to descend upon him. May You grant the doctors and entire medical staff supernatural wisdom and discernment to be able to accurately diagnose his injuries and apply the correct medical treatment. May Your Holy Spirit surround him as he fights for his life. May Your Holy Spirit indwell the heart and mind of this injured Officer and draw him ever so close to Your Heart. And if he does not know You, may you raise up Godly officers and chaplains to share Your amazing love and compassion with him. May Your love, grace, peace, wisdom and comfort especially settle upon the family of this injured officer as they rally at his side loving and supporting him one through this difficult time. May he and his family intimately know Your peace that passes all understanding and that it is You who are at their side especially during this difficult. May they know that You said You will never us nor forsake us. May You Grant the family members a calm spirit as they wait upon the Lord to carry their loved one through his difficult time. May they remember that Your word says to cast all their cares on You for You care for them. And as we know there are many other Detroit Police officers rallying around their injured comrade and his family, may Your Arms of love and compassion touch their hearts and minds and may You bring them comfort as a Father loves his son. So Lord, touch this injured officer in a supernatural way and may You heal him in a way to bring glory to Your Name. May You use this incident to cause many officers and others to examine their hearts. Grant the investigators wisdom to piece together the facts of this incident and may the hit and run suspect be apprehended. Lastly, if anyone has strayed from Your Love, draw them ever so close to You. May many know your word says, “…yet to as many received Him, to those who believe in His Name [Jesus], He gave the right to become children of God.” So Lord, draw many unto Your Son, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
