O’ God, unto You we give You thanks and praise for sparing the lives of these two Camden police detectives who were ambushed. We are so thankful their wounds were not life-threatening. As both detectives are being treated at a local hospital, may You grant the doctors wisdom and insight to effectively identify their wounds and apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. As the families of both detectives are likely at their side right now, may You pour out Your love, grace, peace and mercy upon them as they love and support them at this very emotional time. As the suspect escaped, may You grant the investigator wisdom and insight to be able to track down this suspect and take him into custody. And Lord, if this suspect tries to use his weapon on any other law enforcement officers, may You cause his weapon to misfire or malfunction. May You cause this suspect to be confused and unable to sleep or rest. May You raise up citizens to report the location of this suspect and be apprehended. May You surround every Camden Police officer and allied law enforcement officers with Your Angels may You supernaturally protect them both on and off-duty. O’ Lord, as we know it is because of Your grace that the lives of these detectives were spared, may these detectives know it was because of Your Hands of Mercy and Grace that their lives were saved. May Your word resonate in their hearts as follows: “Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.” So Lord, grant the investigators wisdom to find this suspect and take him into custody. Protect every law enforcement officer involved in the search for this suspect. As we know many family members are likely concerned about their law enforcement family, may they do as Your word says as follows: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” May You raise up chaplains and Godly officers to support the entire Camden Police Department staff, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
