Our Gracious Lord, It has been almost six years since the on-duty murder of Your Servant, Officer Jason Ellis.  And as we know the Kentucky State Police and the F.B.I. are seeking any information in this case that will lead them to the person or persons responsible for this heinous murder, we ask You, Lord, to supernaturally reignite this investigation with fresh information.  Lord, as we know there is someone who has knowledge of this heinous attack upon one of Your Peacemakers, we ask You to cause this person or persons to be filled with grief and guilt and cause them to contact the Kentucky State Police or the F.B.I. and report the identity of the suspect. May You cause this witness to know Your grace will be with them as they disclose the details of this horrific attack. And as the suspect is still on the run, may Your Holy Spirit reveal Your love and grace to this suspect and cause this suspect to be guilt-ridden and unable to rest until he surrenders. Wherever this suspect is, may You cause the suspect(s) mind to be confused.  And if this suspect might be planning to take the life of another law enforcement officer, may you cause any weapon to malfunction or misfire. May You cause this suspect to have a deep spirtual and emotional need to tell someone of his crime which may then be disclosed to law enforcement.  We also know the suspect needs You in his/her heart to be their Savior and Lord and we seek eternal salvation for the suspect as we also know this suspect must pay for this crime. So Lord, we know You are our King of kings and Lord of lords, our Bread of Life and our Living Water and know that all things are possible with You.  So Lord, may You cause the capture of this suspect and allow the Bardstown Police Department and family of Officer Ellis to be able to give thanks to You for hearing and answering our prayer and bringing a suspect or suspects to justice.  May many friends and family members be given Your peace in their heart—Your amazing peace that passes all understanding. May they finally be able to lay their heads on their pillows knowing this heinous killer has been captured—no longer able to terrorize anymore.  May they finally have a restful night’s sleep, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, we pray, Amen.
