Our Father in Heaven, this week before Thanksgiving continues to be tough on law enforcement officers across America.  O’ Lord, we need Your Grace and we need Your mercy upon every peace officer in America.  We again come before Your Throne of Grace to thank You for sparing the life of Officer Donald Revill who fought with an armed man and was shot in the arm.   Lord, we ask for Your healing power to be upon Officer Revill. May You grant the medical specialist’s wisdom to diagnose and render the correct treatment to Officer Revill in order to restore him to full health. More than anything Lord, we stand on Your promise that You said You would never leave us nor forsake us and that You would always be an ever-present help in times of trouble. May Your presence and comfort of Your Holy Spirit be multiplied upon the doctors, family members and the entire Philadelphia Police Department at this very emotional time. May Your peace that passes all understanding be made ever so real in the hearts and spirits of those countless co-workers and family members who have been so deeply affected by this attack upon one of Your servants of righteousness. May You grant the investigators with supernatural insight to effectively gather all of the facts surrounding this attack in which the suspect has been taken into custody after being critically wounded. As countless officers and family members have been emotionally and spiritually challenged may these following promises in Your Word bring amazing peace to the family of this wounded officer and the men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department as follows:

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. Ps. 138:7

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Ps. 27:14

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me…” John 14:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1

In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears. Psalms 18:6

Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord. Psalms 32:10

Lord, in everything You do, we trust in Your Unfailing Love and may Your Will Be done throughout eternity. And if Officer Revill does not know Your love, may You supernaturally speak to his heart and spirit and may he receive Your Son into his heart to receive eternal life. May many other law enforcement officers also come to know Your amazing love found in Your Son. May many say this sincerely and receive You into their hearts right now, “I confess all my sins and ask You into my heart to be my Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.”
