Our Father in Heaven, we come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a seriously injured Milwaukee County Sheriff's Deputy injured by a falling electronic signboard while at a collision scene. As the news reports he is being treated at a trauma center, we place this deputy into Your Arms of Love and mercy and ask You to pour out Your Amazing Grace upon this deputy who likely has some broken bones. May You raise up the correct medical specialists who can accurately diagnose his injuries and then provide the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. May Your Presence and comfort especially be with this injured deputy’s family as they are at his side supporting him through this very difficult time just days away from celebrating Christmas. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural healing touch to be upon this injured deputy and draw him ever so close to Your Side. As he is likely sedated, we ask You to touch his mind and spirit. May Your Holy Spirit reveal to his heart and mind that You are with him and it is You who is carrying them through this difficult time. As we know this has affected countless other members of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, we ask You to reveal to Your grace and Your presence as You carry them through the coming days. So Lord, may every deputy and family member let these following words dwell deeply in their hearts, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” And, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Bring comfort and healing to this injured servant. And if he does not know You personally, may You allow Your Holy Spirit to draw him unto Your Son where he may receive You as Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus we Pray, Amen.
