Our Father in Heaven, We are so grateful to You Lord for sparing the lives of these two wounded deputies from incidents that occurred in two different states yet on the same day.  Lord, we ask for your continued healing power to descend upon these two deputies and restore them to complete health.  We are also so grateful that they have both been released from the hospital and are recovering at home with their families.  May your grace, mercy and peace settle upon the hearts and minds of both deputies as they both had near death experiences. And may your peace gracefully descend upon Deputy Hensley who was forced to take the life of a suspect. May you comfort their minds and spirits and prevent them from suffering any long term emotional effects from these deadly encounters.  Lord, we ask you to make your sweet presence known to the families of both deputies who have been emotionally affected just as much as the injured deputies.  And may you especially grant the Kansas investigators wisdom and supernatural insight in order to track down the suspect who eluded capture.  May you confuse the mind of that suspect and may he be swiftly apprehended without any more law enforcement officers being injured.  May you be with every member of both the Butler County Sheriff's Department and the Knox County Sheriff's Department as they have also been emotionally affected from the near death of their dear friend and co-worker.  And if any deputies, family members, co-workers or friends are uncertain as to what might happen to them should they experience death, may You draw them close to Your side where there is endless mercy and grace.  May you use chaplains, Christian officers and others to share Your plan of salvation to those in need for your word says that You will supply all of our needs according to Your riches and Glory, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
