Our Father in Heaven, the men and women of the Washington D.C.  Police Department need Your divine intervention as 14 police officers suffered varying minor to major injuries after they were attacked by multiple rioters. First Lord, we ask You to supernaturally surround every Washington D.C. law enforcement officer with Your protecting hand and keep them safe from all harm and danger. As the news reports several persons have been arrested, we know the men and women of the Washington D.C. police need Your mercy and grace to descend upon the city and touch the lives of these officers with Your supernatural presence. As these injured officers are continuing to be treated, may You grant the doctors wisdom to identify their wounds/injuries and apply the correct treatment. We especially lift up the officer who was blinded.  May You grant the doctors wisdom to restore his sight.  As the families of these many wounded officers are with their loved ones, may You touch their hearts and minds with the presence of Your Holy Spirit and draw them ever so close to Your side where there is endless grace, mercy and comfort. May You be with the countless law enforcement family members who are at home while their loved ones are on-duty protecting the people of Washington D.C. in the midst of this unrest.  May You, Lord, continue to raise up prayer warriors to join in praying for the Washington D.C. Police and entire community as they deal with the aftermath of this incident. May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a beacon of hope and grace to every officer, co-worker and family member who are so deeply concerned for their loved ones. May Your Words of comfort dwell richly and deeply into the hearts and souls of every law enforcement officer and family member as follows: “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty”; “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”; “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” So Lord, as this incident has affected thousands upon thousands of lives in Washington D.C., may You use this to draw many unto the love of Your Son Jesus. May many know Your word says, to, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” May Your amazing grace settle in Washington D.C. and may the evil be removed.  May many come to know Your love and receive Your Son as Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
