O’ God, we come in great earnest before You, Lord, as we lift up multiple wounded FBI agents before Your Throne of Grace. Lord, we seek Your Presence and grace to be with and upon these agents as they are currently being treated at a hospital. Because You are Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God and our Everlasting Peace, You are the ONE to who we seek Your divine intervention upon these agents. May You continue to guide the hands of the multiple medical staff members treating these agents and grant them wisdom to save their lives and restore them to full health. As this has affected multiple families as well who are likely with their loved ones right now, may You grant these families Your Peace that passes all understanding as You carry them through this time of uncertainty. As we know this has deeply affected countless other members of the F.B.I. and law enforcement community, may Your words touch those in need as follows, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1) And we also want to lift up the men and women of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office as they are mourning the loss of Lt. Michael Boutte. May Your amazing grace surround those grieving and uphold them with Your Righteous Right Hand. May Your Love, grace, mercy, Presence and comfort touch the men and women of the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the F.B.I. who were present and had to witness this ordeal. As we know these attacks can emotionally and spiritually affect so many, may Your words continue to bring comfort to those in need of Your touch, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10) Lord, we want to continue to lift up the countless family members affected into Your Arms of Love. May they know Your Word says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, Lord, continue to touch these wounded agents and spare their lives. We are thankful in both incidents the suspects are no longer a threat. In the coming days as the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office will prepare a final farewell service for Lt. Boutte, may many be drawn unto the love of Your son. And as these F.B.I. agents are being treated may they and many others come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord and call upon him right now to be with them and in their hearts. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly peace officers to be a light to those in need. May Your name be glorified through this difficult time, in the name of Jesus, Amen
