Our Father in Heaven, We come before your Throne of Grace to thank You for sparing the life of Officer Dawn Miller . As we lift her into Your Presence, may You hear our plea and may Your hands of mercy and grace settle upon her as she is being treated at a local hospital. As the news reports indicate she is serious condition, we lift her into Your Presence and ask for Your healing power to be upon her. May You grant the doctor’s wisdom and insight to be able to effectively diagnose and then render the correct treatment to allow her to experience a full recovery. May Your presence and grace especially touch Officer Miller’s family as they rally around her at this very challenging time. May many know Your word says to, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” May You grant the investigators with wisdom and insight as they gather all of the facts in this investigation in which the other driver died. May Your amazing presence especially be made ever so real to the men and women of the Lexington Police Department as we know incidents like these can affect many co-workers. May You use this near-death experience to speak to the hearts of many and draw them unto Your Side. As a result of this near catastrophe and loss of an officer, may many family members and co-worker be drawn into Your Presence to know Your peace and grace. May Officer Miller, even now, sense Your Holy Spirit carrying her through this very emotional time. May many other officers and co-workers be drawn to the love of Your Son. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be available to pray with the many co-workers and point them to Your Son in whom there is peace, grace, forgiveness and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ we Pray, Amen.
