Our Father in Heaven, hear our prayer, O’ Lord, as we lift up the men and women of the Artesia and Memphis Police Department in this tragic traffic fatality of their friend and co-worker, Corporal Thomas Frazier and Officer Scotty Triplett . At times like this Lord, it is only YOU to whom we can turn for comfort. May Your unfailing love sweetly settle upon Corporal Frazier’s family and Officer Triplett’s family who are deeply mourning this horrific loss. Lord, in the midst of this most difficult time for the family, friends and co-workers of Corporal Frazier and Officer Triplett, may Your presence, comfort and amazing grace be made evident in their hearts and minds. Lord, we ask for Your Arms of Love and Mercy to tightly hold Corporal Frazier and Officer Triplett’s entire family and their many co-workers ever so close to Your side. Even in the middle of this tragedy, may You bring about good to everyone. May You grant the investigators wisdom to piece together the details and facts from this collision. As the Artesia and Memphis Police Departments must now begin the difficult process to prepare to say a final farewell to Corporal Frazier and Officer Triplett,, may You use this time to draw many co-workers and others ever so close to the Cross of Christ. May Your Holy Spirit, even now, begin to touch the hearts of so many. May You raise up chaplains and other Christian law enforcement officers to minister to those hurting in their hearts. And so Lord, may the God of Hope fill every officer, friend and family member with all Joy and Peace because of the everlasting gift of eternal life found only in Your Son. May Your word as follows bring comfort to many, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever, Amen“. And, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This we ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.
