Our Gracious Lord, the emotional toll on law enforcement officers has been great today with the blatant attack on Your servants.  So Lord, we come earnestly before Your Throne of Grace to seek the touch of the Master’s Hand upon the lives of these four wounded officers.  May your healing touch be upon the one officer who has been seriously wounded and grant the doctors wisdom and insight to know how to properly treat his injuries.  May your peace and mercies be upon every law enforcement officer who was at that scene.  May you grant the law enforcement negotiators wisdom to be able to talk to the barricaded suspect and safely take him into custody.  May you confuse the mind of this suspect and prevent him from firing his weapon and cause it to malfunction.  Lord, we ask for Your peace, mercies, grace and unfailing love to settle upon every officer who is still at that scene and may you especially uplift their families who are concerned about their loved who are trying to apprehend the suspect.  Lord, We ask You to dispatch Your angels to encamp around the officers and protect them from any further danger or harm.  May every officer know you said to Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.  May your name be glorified, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
