Praying for the Gothenburg (Sweden) Police in the on-duty murder of a police officer

Our Father in Heaven, we come before Your Throne of Grace on behalf of the men and women of law enforcement in Sweden who are in need Your grace, mercy, comfort, power and everlasting presence to be poured out upon them as they cope with the on-duty murder of an officer. Unto You Lord, we seek Your divine intervention and supernatural power upon the many law enforcement officers involved in this search for the suspect(s). Lord, grant the many law enforcement officers wisdom and protection every moment as they are searching for the suspect in this heinous and cowardly act upon Your servants of righteousness. May You give the investigators supernatural wisdom to develop evidence and leads in order to track down this suspect be brought to justice. If this suspect tries to harm any more officers, may You cause the suspect’s weapon(s) to malfunction or be inoperable as law enforcement officers search for them. May You confuse the mind of the suspect and cause him to be made visible that would lead to his capture. May You use every resource possible to locate and apprehend this suspect. May Your amazing grace and presence be made evident to every law enforcement officer involved in the search for the suspect and especially to the many friends and co-workers of this slain officer. May You encamp Your angels around every one of them at all times to protect them. Give them supernatural wisdom to maintain a state of readiness and to have a supernatural instinct should they be approaching any harm or danger. May Your mercies touch the men and women of law enforcement across the Country of Sweden and may Your mercies, grace, peace and comfort touch their hearts and souls. May Your peace that passes all understanding be with the family of this fallen officer hold them with Your arms of love at this very difficult time. May the family know Your word says, I will never leave you nor forsake you. May they also know Your word says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” As the law enforcement community in Sweden will be soon making preparations for a final farewell service to their fallen comrade, may You use this to draw many unto the love of Your Son. May this farewell service point may unto Jesus and may they know that, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” At all times, may Your presence be made supernaturally known to every law enforcement officer and may they be drawn to the love and protections of Your Son in whom there is peace, mercy and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
