Praying for a wounded Palm Beach County (FL) Sheriff's Deputy

Lord Jesus, We come into Your Presence to lift up a wounded Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputy who was shot in the line of duty. As the news reports indicate his wound was not life-threatening, we thank you that his life was spared and now ask you, Lord, to grant the doctors and other medical professionals’ wisdom and insight to continue to effectively treat and completely restore this deputy to full health. May you especially settle your peace, grace and love upon the family of this wounded deputy as they rally around him to love and support him as he is being treat at a hospital. May your grace also extend to the men and women of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department who are rallying around and supporting their friend and co-worker as they cope with this near-tragedy. May your peace that passes all understanding guard the hearts and minds of every deputy within the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department. May You grant the investigators wisdom to gather the facts surrounding this encounter. We are so thankful the suspect responsible for this attack has been arrested. May the members of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department and allied law enforcement officers be granted an extra measure of Your Grace and Mercy as they cope with this attack on one of their co-workers. May You surround every deputy and law enforcement officers across America and worldwide with Your Angels and Your protecting Arms. As we know incidents like this can cause emotional trauma in the present and in the future, we therefore ask you, Lord, to send your endless mercies upon this wounded peacemaker and the other deputies and first responders who were initially at that incident and may You preserve their hearts and minds in You. May every member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department know Your word says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” And, “Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” And, “So we say with confidence, 'The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid, what can man do to me?” May many deputies and family members be drawn close to Your side and may many be granted Your peace that passes all understanding and given an opportunity to know the Love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, this was ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.
