Our father in Heaven, As the assaults on Your peacemakers continue, we once again come before Your Throne of Grace to offer our hearts of gratitude for sparing the lives of two more of Your servants.  As details are still unfolding, we are thankful that the injuries to these deputies are not life-threatening; nonetheless, we ask for Your grace to be poured out upon these deputies.  May you guide the hands of the medical personnel to effectively treat their injuries and restore them to full health.  May Your peace settle in the hearts of these deputies who had to resort to deadly force in which a suspect died.  May You grant the detectives wisdom to effectively investigate this incident.  May You wrap your arms around all of the deputies who were at the scene assisting in this incident and draw them ever so close to Your side.  May your grace also extend to the many first responders and paramedics who assisted at that chaotic scene.  Lastly Lord, may Your Love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort especially settle upon the hearts of the families of these wounded deputies and sustain them with Your unfailing love.  May Your Holy Spirit draw many family members, deputies and co-workers unto Your side where there is endless peace.  May Your name be Glorified and may many come to know the everlasting life found in Your Son.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
