Praying for a seriously wounded Littleton (CO) Police Officer

Our Merciful Lord, we come in deep earnest before You Lord to lift up a seriously wounded Littleton Police Officer. O’ Lord, because You are the King of kings, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father and our Prince of Peace, we come into Your Presence to lift up this wounded officer before and upon Your Throne of Grace. We ask for Your grace to be poured out upon him as he has already undergone surgery. May You grant every doctor and medical professional supernatural wisdom in order to use every bit of their medical training to continue to treat this officer and spare his life. May Your grace surround the men and women of the Littleton Police and draw them all so close together in the bonds of love. May Your peace and mercies also be with the countless law enforcement officers involved in this massive, ongoing search for the suspect. O’ Lord, may You be a Shield and protect every law enforcement officer who is searching for the suspect. Grant the investigators wisdom to use their training and experience to track down this suspect and take him into custody. And if this suspect tries to fire his weapon at any law enforcement officer, may you cause the weapon to malfunction. May You cause the suspect to be fatigued, guilt-ridden and may he not be able to rest until he is caught. May Your everlasting comfort and grace descend on this wounded officer’s heart, mind and soul. May You supernaturally reveal to him Your Presence and Your grace in his mind and spirit. May You grant the investigators wisdom to determine the facts surrounding this attack as they continue to search for this suspect. O’ God, protect them in this search. O’ Lord, may Your amazing grace and Your supernatural presence to made ever so real to the family and close friends of this wounded officer as they are at his side supporting him at this very difficult time. May every member of the Littleton Police be drawn ever so close to Your side. May they realize they can lean on You for strength. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers and friends to share the love and peace of Your Son for we know only Jesus can provide them with a peace that passes all understanding. Once again Lord, we seek Your healing touch upon this officer. May You use this near-tragedy to bring many together in the bonds of love and may they intimately know You will always be their Refuge and Strength. Finally, Lord, comfort many with your words as follows, “…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.“ Lord, may You use this attack on this officer to restore respect and dignity upon law enforcement officers across America. Most importantly Lord, may many officers and family members come to know the forgiveness and eternal life found only in Your Son, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
