Our Merciful Father, we want thank You for sparing the lives of these three Boston Police Officers who were wounded in the line of duty. We therefore come with boldness and thanksgiving before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your mercy and comfort upon these officers as they are recovering from their wounds. May You continue to grant the medical staff with wisdom and insight to be able to accurately diagnose and treat their injuries and restore them to full health. May You grant the investigators wisdom as they piece together this attack against Your peacemakers in which the suspect died. May Your peace settle upon the entire Boston Police Department as they have been obviously emotionally and spiritually challenged at this attack on their co-workers. May Your grace and protecting hand extend to the entire Boston Police Department and law enforcement officers across America and protect them from anyone else who might try to harm them in the line of duty. Most importantly, we ask for Your mercy, grace, comfort and peace to settle upon the families of these officers and draw them ever so close into Your Side as they cope with the near loss of their loved ones. May You use this incident to continue to awaken the citizens of Massachusetts and America that an attack on any peacemakers is an attack on YOU, Lord, and may You cause many more prayer warriors to arise. May You continue to touch the hearts of every Boston officer and may Your Holy Spirit draw them close to Your side for mercy and grace. May every officer know Your word says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” And, “Come to me all who are weary and with heavy burdens and I will give you rest.” May every officer in Boston be drawn unto the love of Your Son and may those who need Your Touch be drawn to Your Son Jesus, in whom there is everlasting life and forgiveness of sins, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
