Our King of Kings, it is with a deep heart of thanksgiving and gratitude that we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of the Durham Police Dept. and the Beaumont Police Department as they rally around and support their injured co-workers. We are so thankful that You spared their live. As these officers are being attended to by medical personnel, may You grant the doctors wisdom to identify and treat their injuries and restore them to full health. May You continue to raise up the correct medical specialists to identify their injuries and restore them to full health. May Your mercy, comfort, love, peace and presence touch the families of these law enforcement officers and sustain them with Your amazing grace as they rally around and support their loved ones this last day of m2021. And as countless members of the Durham Police Dept. and the Beaumont Police Department support their co-workers through these near-death encounters, may Your Holy Spirit speak to their hearts that they may know Your word as follows, "Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret it leads only to evil. For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land." O God, May Your peace that passes all understanding sustain those in need. As we know traumatic incidents like these can cause emotional trauma, may Your amazing grace preserve the hearts of those and draw them unto Your side. We lift all who need a touch of our Master's hand into Your Arms of Love. And in the weeks to come may many be drawn unto the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life and peace. May You raise up Goldy officers and chaplains to be a light to those in need. May many come to know Your son, Jesus, as their savior and Lord. May every officer and family member intimately know Your love, grace and mercy as we begin the new year, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
