O’ God, our hearts are broken in pieces at yet another heinous and senseless criminal act of vengeance on multiple law enforcement officers in Kentucky. As Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy William Petry and Prestonsburg Police Capt. Ralph Frasure and a police dog were shot and died, we want to lift up the four additional law enforcement officers wounded in the line of duty. As one is in critical condition, we lift this peace officer into Your arms of love. May you spare his life O’ God and provide this officer with the correct medical care. May the doctors be granted an extra measure of wisdom and grace to treat this peace officer and restore him to full health. May Your amazing grace continue to touch the three other wounded servants and bring about a full recovery. O’ God, as this tragedy has affected countless law enforcement members and their families, it is only You, our Merciful God, to whom we can seek for help. First Lord, we are thankful the suspect has been arrested and is no longer a threat. At all times during this holiday weekend, we ask You to surround every law enforcement officer with Your Hands of Protection and with Your angels. As there are multiple family members affected from this tragedy, we ask You to surround them with Your Presence and uplift them with Your mercy, peace, comfort, Presence and grace. May You draw them ever so close to Your Side as You carry them through this very dark period. O’ God, as the entire Kentucky law enforcement community is in shock and mourning, we uplift them with the presence and power of Your Holy Spirit. If any of these surviving wounded officers do not know You personally, may You speak to their hearts and minds and draw them unto the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life. Lord, we ask You to raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a representative of Your Son. May you use this tragedy to draw countless law enforcement officers to Your Side and may hundreds of officers receive You as their Savior and Lord. So, Lord, it is only You, our Master, our Savior and our Messiah, to whom we can go to for help for Your word says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”. O’ God, it is to You we ask to be a refuge for every Kentucky peace officer. May You be their Rock, Fortress and Deliverer. May every officer be reassured right now for Your word says to, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Lord, surround every peacemaker right now with Your Presence. May You be their supernatural Kevlar. Lord, we seek Your peace that passes all understanding to uphold those mourning and grieving. As the Floyd County Sheriff's Department and the Prestonsburg Police Departments must begin the task to say final farewell to their fallen comrades, may You use these services to point may unto the love of Your son and may many come to receive Him as their savior and Lord.
