Our Father in Heaven, we come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace to lift up seriously injured Haines City Police Officers Jose Ramirez and Gedrick Vargas involved in an on-duty collision. As they are being treated at a trauma center, we place them into Your Arms of Love and mercy and ask You to pour out Your Amazing Grace upon Officer Ramirez who is said to have very serious injuries. May You raise up the correct medical specialists who can accurately diagnose his injuries and then provide the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery. As Officer Vargas has been treated and released, may Your healing touch continue to be upon him and restore him to full health. May Your Presence and comfort especially be with the families of both officers as they are at their side supporting them through this very difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your supernatural healing touch to be upon Officer Ramirez and draw him ever so close to Your Side. As he is likely sedated, we ask You to touch his mind and spirit. May Your Holy Spirit reveal to his heart and mind that You are with him and it is You who is carrying him through this difficult time. As we know this has affected other Haines City Police co-workers, friends and first responders, we ask You to reveal to Your grace and Your presence as You carry them through the coming days. May You grant the investigators wisdom to investigate this collision. So Lord, may every officer and family member let these following words dwell deeply in their hearts, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” And, “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in GOD the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock.” O’ Lord, bring comfort and healing to Your injured peace officers. And if they do not know You personally, may You allow Your Holy Spirit to draw him unto Your Son where he can receive You as Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus we Pray, Amen.
