Our Lord, in this holiday season, we find ourselves again having to join with the members of another police department, the Centre Police Department, in grieving the loss of Officer Jeffrey Hugh Bryant.  Lord, the lives of so many were affected from this collision in which two others also lost their lives—one just a two-year old boy.  Our Gracious Father, it is Your comfort that we seek at this most difficult time.  May Your unfailing love reach out and touch the many law enforcement officers and first responders who were involved in that investigation and uphold them with Your grace and mercy.  May You give the investigators wisdom and insight to effectively investigate the collision and determine the factors involved in that accident.  May Your compassionate arms of love and mercy reach out and uphold the family of Officer Bryant who must now spend this Christmas without their loved one.  May your mercies touch this very close knit agency and draw them ever so close to Your heart.  In the coming days as the members of the Centre Police Department prepare to say their final farewell to Officer Bryant, may many be drawn to Your side where there is endless grace.  May many come to know Your intimate love through the gift of Your Son.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
