Praying for the Bay Area Rapid Transit (B.A.R.T.) Police Department (California) in the accidental on-duty shooting death of a fellow officer

Our Father in Heaven, We want to lift up the entire B.A.R.T Police Department who are in deep mourning from this tragic accidental death of one of their own officers. May Your mercies and grace deeply touch the hearts of every officer and co-worker who are grieving from this loss. Lord, we ask You to especially settle your sweet presence upon the surviving officers from this incident and draw them ever so close to Your side. The guilt and grief upon the officer involved in this accidental shooting must be unbearable right now. So Lord, we ask You to send Your Holy Spirit to that officer right now and uphold him/her with Your unending Love and grace. May Your mighty Arms of Love reach out and uphold the family of the officer who died and draw them ever so close to Your side. Lord, we also know that many other B.A.R.T. officers and their families are grieving and mourning greatly of which only Your everlasting love, mercy, peace and grace and carry them through this very difficult emotional time. Lord, may every officer, friend, co-worker and family member sense Your sweet presence in the midst of this great time of mourning. And through this tragic accident, may many be drawn unto Your side to intimately know and receive the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and grace. May many come to receive Him as their Savior and Lord. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
