Our Gracious Lord, we come before Your Throne of grace to lift up two wounded Saratoga County Sheriff’s Deputies. We are ever so thankful unto You, for Your mercies to have been upon these deputies in sparing their lives. O God, our hearts go out to the entire Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department as they endure this attack on two of their co-workers. As one deputy one shot in the leg and has undergone surgery and the other was shot in his Kevlar vest, may Your mercies and healing touch be upon both of these deputies. As they continue any needed treatment, may You continue to provide them with the correct medical professionals and bestow upon them supernatural wisdom and insight to provide to most effective treatment to bring about a full recovery and healing. May Your mercies and amazing grace settle upon both deputies and may Your peace, Your Presence and Your Comfort, be made ever so real in their hearts and minds because of Your love and grace. May Your arms of love surround the families of both deputies as they love and support them at this emotional time as the New Year has just begun. O’ Lord, thank You for sparing their lives. May You forever be a Shield around them be the lifter of their hearts and minds. May Your hands of protection be with the many other law enforcement officers who responded to that shooting scene. Surround every law enforcement officer with Your Protecting Arms and keep them all safe from any harm or danger. We are thankful the suspect is no longer a threat. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be available to pray for and support their co-workers at this difficult time. May many deputies, family members, friends and co-workers be drawn to Your Son in whom there is eternal life. And if any law enforcement officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may they know that now is the acceptable time, that now is the day of salvation. May many receive You as their Savior and Lord. May the words of Isaiah be real in their hearts, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.” Encamp Your Messengers--Your Angels--around law enforcement officers in NewYork and across America and provide them with supernatural protection. May Your grace continue to touch both wounded deputies and bring about a full healing. May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of both wounded deputies and if they do not know You personally, may You lead someone to tell them of Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
