Praying for two seriously injured Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies

Our Father in Heaven, we seek your mercy and healing touch to be upon these two Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies injured after being attacked by inmates. As the news reports indicate they were transported to a trauma center, we ask for Your grace and peace to be upon their physical bodies and uphold them with Your arms of Love. May You raise up the correct medical specialists who will be able to diagnose and treat their injuries and bring about a full recovery. May Your peace that passes all understanding touch the heart and mind of both deputies and may Your Holy Spirit draw them close to Your side as they have since been released from the hospital. May Your Presence be made ever so real to the men and women of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department as they rally around their comrades and their families at this very emotional time. May Your Protecting Hands continue be upon every deputy within the Tulare County Jails and all across America. May Your abundant grace and mercies especially touch the families of both deputies and may they intimately know and sense Your Presence with them. May they know it is You who will carry them through these uncertain times. May You comfort the many family members, injured deputies and co-workers with these words as follows, “…do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Lord, we also ask for Your grace and wisdom to be bestowed upon investigators in order to determine the facts surrounding this attack. We also pray for every law enforcement officer, firefighter, paramedic, and the many other first responders who assisted these injured deputies at that hectic scene. May your hands of grace, mercy and protection be with them at all times and grant them peace and grace. We are also thankful the inmates will be charged as a result of this attack. May you use this life-threatening incident to draw not only these injured deputies close to Your Side, as well as many other co-workers and family members as well. May they know that you are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Light of the World, Our Living Water, our Bread of Life, our Messiah and our God. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly deputies to bring hope and comfort to those in need. In the midst of this storm, may You draw many unto Your side and may many come to receive You, Jesus, into their hearts as Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
