Our Loving Father, We come in deep earnest before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up the men and women of the Fargo Police department due to the suicide of Lt. Jeff Skuza.  Lord, we know that incidents like this often affect every member of the police department and for that reason, it is only Your love, grace, peace and mercy that can carry them through this very emotional time.    Lord, we especially ask for Your graceful touch to be upon the family of Lt. Skuza who are in obvious deep mourning and filled with unbearable sorrow.  We also seek Your peace that passes all understanding to settle upon the supervisors, manager and chief as this has undoubtedly affected them emotional, mentally and spiritually.  In the midst of this difficult tragedy, may every member of the Fargo Police Department be drawn ever so close to Your side and sense Your sweet presence.  May every member intimately know that You will be their Refuge, their Strength, their Shield and their Rock.  May this tragedy be used to draw every family member and department member ever so close to the Cross of Christ.  May Your grace and mercies touch the hearts and minds of those who are especially grieving at this senseless loss.   And in the weeks and months to come, may You raise up Godly men and women, chaplains and others to be a support to those hurting.  We ask You, Lord, to use this tragedy to draw many to Your side where there is unending love and forgiveness.  Grant the police administrators wisdom to move forward as this will affect them for years to come.  May they know that they can cast their cares upon YOU for YOU care for them.  May many come to know Your Son in a personal way, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
