Praying for two wounded San Jose (CA) Police Officers, one in critical condition and for a critically wounded Placer County (CA) Sheriff’s Deputy

Our God of Mercy, we join with the men and women of the San Jose Police Department and the Placer County Sheriff’s Department and lift up these two critically wounded peace officers before Your Throne of Grace. As the details are minimal, we come with a deep sense of urgency and lift them into Your presence. May Your comfort and healing power continue to descend upon them by Your grace and mercies. O’ Lord, we know You are the Author of Life, the Bread of Life and the Way, the Truth and the Life and ask You to spare the lives of these peace officers. We thank You that You are merciful, wise, omniscient, faithful, holy and good and for those reasons, we seek Your amazing grace and the touch of the Master’s Hand to be upon these wounded peace officers from head to foot. May You reach inside his physical body and begin the healing process according to Your Riches and Glory in Christ Jesus. We also lift the second wounded San Jose officer into Your arms of love. May each wounded peace officer and the entire San Jose Police Department and the Placer County Sheriff’s Department and their family know Your word says, “My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.” Lord, we place these wounded peace officers into Your hands. You know all things and You know we earnestly come before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your mercy and grace at this time of need. May Your mercy, grace and comfort also be with any other peace officer who was present and witnessed those incidents. May You grant the investigators wisdom to piece together this investigation in which the suspects are no longer a threat. We also ask You to pour out Your amazing grace upon the paramedics, doctors and other first responders who are treating Your wounded peacemaker. And if these wounded peace officers do not know Your love and forgiveness, we ask You, Lord, to use chaplains, Godly officers and others to share Your love with him and allow him to receive You has his pe<div align='center'><a href='https://www.free-website-hit-counter.com'><img src='https://www.free-website-hit-counter.com/c.php?d=4&id=167673&s=40' border='0'nal Savior and Lord. May those who’ve been emotionally and/or spiritually challenged from this attack on one of their co-workers know, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” May they do as King David, who said, “I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” So Lord, may Your mercy, grace, love and comfort settle upon this wounded officer’s family, co-workers and friends as they rally around him. May they deeply and intimately sense Your Presence, grace, mercy and comfort carrying them through this difficult time of uncertainty. As this has deeply affected the entire San Jose Police Department and the Placer County Sheriff’s Department, may Your peace that passes all understanding be made real in everyone’s hearts. May You use this near-tragedy to draw all men unto Your Son in whom there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
