Our Father in Heaven, We come in earnest need before You Lord as we lift up four more of Your Servants of Righteousness. We ask for Your grace and peace to settle upon these two Vermont Troopers who were wounded today in a shooting. We are thankful one has already been released from the hospital and we continue to lift up the second trooper that You would give the medical staff wisdom to properly treat and heal his injuries. Lord, we also urgently come into Your presence to lift up these two New York City Police Officers who were trapped in an elevator during a fire. As we only know what is being reported in the media, we ask for Your hands of mercy to be upon both officers and that You would spare their lives. Lord, we know You are all powerful and all merciful and are full of lovingkindness. May Your grace reach down and touch the lives of these two officers and restore them to complete health. May You send various specialists and other medical professionals to render the proper treatment to save both officers. May You presence be with the multitude of co-workers with the Vermont State Police and the New York City Police Department as they rally around to support each other and the families of these officers. Lord, as we know there are countless first responders, fire-fighters, EMT’s, paramedics and other emergency personnel who have been affected by these incidents, we also ask for Your peace to settle upon their hearts and minds and to spare them from any long-term emotional trauma. May You bless these injured officers and may many many be drawn to Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May every officer know that they can cast their burdens upon You anytime, 24/7, for You intimately care for them. May many come to know Your Son in real and personal way. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
