Praying for a seriously wounded/stabbed Greater Manchester (UK) Police officer

Our Gracious Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a seriously wounded Greater Manchester Police officer who was stabbed in the chest. As the news reports indicate he is in stable condition, we come into Your Presence Lord, the Great Physician, and ask for Your mercies and grace to intervene and touch this officer from head to toe. May You continue to grant the medical staff wisdom to use their skills and training to continue to diagnose and render the correct treatment in order to fully restore him to complete health. May Your love, presence, mercy, grace and peace especially settle upon this officers’ family who are rallying at his side as we know they are filled with a multitude of emotions, anxiety and concern. May your grace and love especially touch the many other Police officers and first responders who were at the scene to render first aid to their injured comrade. May Your presence and peace also sustain them and uplift them with Your grace and comfort many with Your word as follows, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Grant the investigators wisdom and insight to piece together the details of this confrontation. We are also so thankful the suspect was stopped by other peace officers. We especially lift up every member of the Greater Manchester Police Department into Your Presence. May Your amazing grace to carry them through difficult days ahead as they rally around their injured comrade and friend. And if this wounded officer does not know Your love, may You supernaturally speak to his heart and mind and reveal to him Your word as follows, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” As this officer is likely sedated, may Your Holy Spirit speak to his heart and mind and may he intimately sense Your sweet presence with him right now. May You use this near-tragedy to draw many other law enforcement officers unto Your side Lord as they love and support their injured colleague. May You heal this Officer in any way that will bring Glory to Your Name. Lastly Lord, may You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a tremendous support to any in need. May many be drawn to the Love of Your Son in whom they can cast all of our cares upon. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
