Our Gracious Lord, We are so very thankful for Your mercies upon this wounded Los Angeles Police Officer who was senselessly wounded inside a police station.  Although details are sketchy at this time, we are grateful that You spared the life of this officer.  May You continue to grant the medical professionals at the hospital with supernatural wisdom and insight to properly treat the officers wounds and restore him/her to full health.  May Your grace touch every LAPD officer, emergency responder and medical professional who were involved in this incident and keep their hearts and minds secure in Your loving mercy.  And as the news reports that the suspect was critical, we also lift him unto Your throne of grace to seek Your mercies for him that he may be drawn unto Your Son where there is endless grace.  May every LAPD officer know without a doubt that You love them.  May You use this near-death experience to speak to those officers whose hearts may be hard or of those officers who’ve backslidden from Your grace and love.  May Your peace that passes all understanding bless the hearts and minds of every officer.  May You especially touch the family members and friends affected by this near-tragedy and may they experience Your unfailing love.  Uphold them with Your Mighty Arms of love and peace.  May many officers come to know Your love in a real and deep personal manner.  In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
