Praying for three wounded officers with the New York Police Department,
the New York Metropolitan Transit Authority Police and
the North Charleston, (South Carolina) Police Department
Lord Jesus, We lift up Sgt. Eddie Bullard, Officer John Barnett and Officer Brian Groves who were recently wounded in the line of duty at several different agencies across the U.S. We are so grateful for your hand of protection upon them and thank you for sparing their lives. We especially lift up Officer Barnett who was stabbed in the eye and ask that you would give the medical staff wisdom to know how to effectively treat and restore him to complete health. We also lift up the officers in North Charleston as they continue their search for the suspect who shot Sgt. Bullard. We ask you to protect them and prevent any more officers from being injured and may the suspect be apprehended quickly. We also ask that your grace would descend upon the hearts of all of these injured officers, their families and their co-workers as they deal with the psychological trauma often associated with these types of injuries. May your Holy Spirit also settle upon them and may they experience your grace, peace and mercy. Lastly Lord, if any of these officers do not know you personally, may you reveal your love to them in any way you choose. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
