Praying for eight injured Orange County (CA) Fire Department Firefighters from an on-duty collision, six in serious/critical condition

Our Merciful Lord, we come boldly into Your Presence to lift the men and women of the Orange County Fire Department and place them before Your Throne of Grace. As we know this collision has deeply affected them and the entire local fire and law enforcement community, we ask for Your Arms of Loving kindness to supernaturally uphold them as You carry them through this ordeal. As we know the family of all of these firefighters are likely with their loved ones, we ask You to be their Rock, their Fortress and their Refuge right now and in the days ahead. May Your Peace that passes all understanding be supernaturally revealed to the Orange County Fire Department and the many family members and friends. As we lift these injured firefighters into Your Arms of Love, may Your healing touch upon them and sustain them with Your grace and peace. Grant the investigators wisdom to investigate this collision. May the comfort and presence of Your Holy Spirit settle upon the men and women of the Orange County Fire Department and sustain them with Your arms of loving kindness. As we know traumatic incidents like these can affect the lives of many, we ask Your Holy Spirit to settle upon anyone who has been traumatized and preserve their mind, body and spirit in Your Arms of Love. May they be kept from enduring any short-term or long-term emotional trauma. May anyone struggling emotionally or spiritually know Your word says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” And, “I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” As a result of this traumatic incident, may many withing the firefighting community examine their hearts and be drawn to the love of Jesus and receive his forgiveness and eternal life. May You bring about good from this incident. May Your words as follow comfort many, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Finally, as a result of this near=tragedy, may You raise up Godly firefighters and chaplains to reach out and point many to the Cross of Christ, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
