Our Gracious Lord, We come with heavy hearts as we ask you to grant Your continued grace, mercy, wisdom and insight as law enforcement investigators continue their search to apprehend the murderer(s) of Officer Jason Ellis.  Lord, we know this brutal and heinous crime continues to weigh heavily on the men and women of the Bardstown Police Department and entire Kentucky law enforcement community as they know the suspect is still at large.  We also know this loss has been ever so great to Officer Ellis’ wife, Amy, at the loss of her husband.  Lord, we ask You to raise up witnesses and informants to provide leads to law enforcement officers in order to finally apprehend the suspect(s) in this brutal attack on one of Your Servants of righteousness.  Lord, this attack was not just upon one officer but an entire family of law enforcement officers.  Lord, we acknowledge You as our Savior, our Refuge and an ever-present Help in times of trouble.  Lord, You are our ONLY HOPE and CONFIDENCE because You are our Strong Refuge.  Continue to pour out Your protection upon every peace officer in Kentucky and abroad.  Lord, we ask You to give the investigators supernatural wisdom to investigate every aspect of this case.  May You hear our cry for justice and may You provide the investigators leads to the locate suspect(s).  May they be apprehended swiftly and finally face justice.  May Your Name be glorified when the suspect if finally arrested and may every law enforcement officer, friend and family member be able to rest peacefully in Your grace and mercy, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
