Our Father, We come in earnest need before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up a Trumbull County Sheriff's corrections officer being held hostage.  Lord, we ask for Your mercy, grace and peace to descend upon this officer and may he sense Your presence in the midst of this very tense situation.  Lord, we ask You to protect the officer from any form of danger.  May you cause the inmates holding him hostage to realize they are in a no-win situation and to let release the officer.   Grant the investigators and SWAT negotiators supernatural wisdom to effectively bring this very difficult ordeal to a safe close.  May You raise up multiple prayer warriors to lift up this hostage situation.  We ask you to confuse the minds of these suspects.  May You remind the correctional officer to remain calm and to remember his training.  May the officer be able to communicate with the suspects and convince them to surrender.  Encamp your angels around the officer, the SWAT team and all officers involved in this rescue.  May every officer know You are their only hope as You are our Refuge and Strength.  Protect everyone and may this be successfully resolved quickly, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
