Our Loving Father, We lift up another one of your servants injured in a collision. We are so very thankful that You spared his life. May Your healing touch be upon his body and may You grant the medical doctors wisdom to be able to effectively diagnose and treat his injuries. May Your peace and grace also extend to the many CHP co-workers who were involved in this situation and draw them ever so close to your side. May Your peace that passes understanding also descend upon the family and friends of the injured officer and may You use this to draw them ever so close in the bonds of love. Lord, we are so thankful that the suspect who caused the collision was arrested. May Your grace also touch his life and draw him into the presence of Your Son where he may find grace, peace and forgiveness. May You give the investigators wisdom and insight to effectively investigate this collision. And as we do not know the status of the injured officer, may you wrap Your loving arms around him and may he sense Your presence carrying him through this difficult ordeal. May the love of Your Son be made real in his life and may You use Godly officers, chaplains and others to draw him to the love of Your Son. May he and many others come to know the eternal life provided by the Love of Your Son, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
