Our Gracious Lord, Thank You! Thank You Lord for sparing the lives of two more of Your servant—peacemakers. Lord, we lift up these two wounded law enforcement officers from Forsyth County and Grand Prairie and place them into Your Loving Arms. We are so thankful their injuries were not life-threatening and ask for Your healing touch to be upon their wounds and restore them quickly. May Your amazing peace and grace settle upon the many other law enforcement officers who were involved in those incidents and grant them peace, mercy, grace and comfort as they recount these details over and over in their minds as to the closeness they came to death. May You fill the hearts of these law enforcement officers with Your Holy Spirit who may draw them unto Your side for peace and comfort. Preserve their hearts and minds and prevent any law enforcement officer present at these scenes from enduring the pains of long-term emotional trauma. May Your grace touch the many EMT’s, medics and medical personnel who may have been emotionally traumatized by these incidents. May Your mercies touch the families of these wounded law enforcement officers who had to endure the emotional trauma in the potential loss of their loved one. As the law enforcement officers in both incidents had to use their weapons to protect themselves and others, grant them Your peace which they may recognize in their hearts and minds. As we know in the days and weeks to come, these officers may endure emotional scars, fill them will Your love and draw them to Godly officers, chaplains and others to encourage their hearts and minds. And if any law enforcement officer involved in these incidents does not know You, may they begin to think about their eternal destination should they have lost their life. May You draw them unto Your Son in whom there is amazing grace and forgiveness. May Your name be glorified, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
