Our Father in Heaven, we lift of the law enforcement community today as we mourn the loss of RCMP Constable Derek Pineo and Border Patrol Agent James Dominguez due to these tragic accidents.  Lord, every day while law enforcement officers perform their duties, we know danger constantly looms and it for that reason we continually lift up the men and women of law enforcement unto your wonderful throne of grace.  Lord, we ask you to especially touch the co-workers and family members of these officers as they grieve the loss of a husband, father, brother and friend.  Lord, we know you are our refuge, our fortress and our strength.  Your word tells us that He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High shall rest in the shadow of the almighty and it is YOUR rest that we seek for these officers and family members.  May the name of Jesus be glorified through these tragedies and may many come to know you in a real and personal way.  So, Lord it is Your rest and peace that we seek in the loss of these servants.  This we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
