Our Father in Heaven, We, again, come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up another one of Your servants injured in the line of duty.  Lord. We ask for Your mercies to be abundant upon this Omaha officer who suffered a serious stab wound in the back.  Lord, we are thankful that this officer is being treated at a local hospital and ask for Your continued blessings upon the officers heart and mind.  We are so thankful for modern medicine and ask that You would bring to the officer the correct medical specialists to properly diagnose and treat the stab wound(s).  May You bring about a full and complete recovery.  May Your grace and peace gently settle upon the heart, mind and soul of this injured officer and may You draw this officer ever so close to Your side in order to experience Your peace and comfort.  May Your grace and comfort touch the many other Omaha officers who were at the scene who had to having to endure watching a co-worker carried away in an ambulance.  May Your grace and compassion descend upon the family of this injured officer and may they sense Your grace carrying them through this very emotional time.  Lastly, Lord, may You use this traumatic incident to draw many Omaha officers ever so close to Your side.  And if this injured officer does not know You personally, may they know that now is the acceptable time for now is the day of salvation.  May Your Holy Spirit draw many unto the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life, this we ask in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.
