Our Loving Father, we came with heavy hearts as we lift up the entire Colorado Springs Police Department in the loss of Officer Matt Tyner. As these officers mourn the loss of their friend and colleague, we ask that your love, grace, peace and mercy sustain them with the comfort only you can provide. May the peace of Christ reign in the hearts of the officers and especially the family members. May everyone know they can rest on you Lord—our Rock, our Fortress, our Deliverer. You are our God in whom we take refuge in this difficult time for You are our Shield and our Stronghold. May the name of Jesus be glorified and may many who do not know you as Savior and Lord be drawn close to you to know you in a personal way. It is to You Lord we seek for you are worthy of praise, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
