Our Father in Heaven, We come earnestly before Your Throne of Grace and lift up 27-year-old Trooper Michael Quaglioroli  into Your presence.  Lord, we ask You to provide the many medical professionals with wisdom as they diagnose and treat his multiple injuries.  Based on the news reports, we know his injuries are great and that he will be on a long road to recovery.  We therefore ask Your sweet presence to settle upon his heart, mind and spirit and sustain him with Your peace and especially Your awesome and amazing grace. May You surround him and his entire family with Your presence and grant them strength at this very difficult time.  May you use his youthfulness as an asset to allow him to mend quickly.  May Your grace, peace, mercy and comfort touch the men and women of the Connecticut State Police as they are also reaching out to support Trooper Quaglioroli and his family.  May Your grace and healing power also be upon the other pedestrian who was struck and bring about a full recovery, too.  Lord, may you use this as a reminder to the public of the inherent dangers law enforcement officers face every day.  And in the days ahead when Trooper Quaglioroli will be in the midst of his recovery and rehabilitation, may he come to know that You have been with him for You have been his Hiding Place.  May You surround him with songs of deliverance in this time of recovery.  And if he does not know You personally, may you use this to draw his attention unto Your Son in whom there is everlasting live and forgiveness of sins.  May he and many others receive You into their hearts.  May You greatly bless the men and women of the Connecticut State Police with peace.  In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
