O’Lord, unto You Lord we express our gratitude in sparing the lives of two more of Your peacemakers.  We lift up both Officer Calhoun and Deputy Camp before Your Throne of Grace and ask for Your healing touch to descend upon their bodies and bring about a full and complete healing.  As we know both law enforcement officers faced near death experiences, we ask for Your grace and mercy to especially touch their hearts, minds and souls as they recover physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  May Your grace be made evident in their lives and may they be drawn ever so close to Your side where they can hear Your heart beat.  May Your grace, peace, mercy and comfort especially touch the families of both law enforcement officers as they experienced the near loss of their loved one.  Lord, as we know the men and women of the Houston Police Department and Pickens County Sheriff’s Office have been emotionally traumatized by these incidents, we ask for Your grace to be made real to every member of those departments and draw them ever so close to You for comfort.  May Officer Calhoun and his partner experience Your awesome peace that passes all understanding in the midst of having to use deadly force on another to save their lives.  May Your unending love and comfort perpetually be with both officers as they replay this deadly scenario over and over in their minds.  May You reveal Yourself in their hearts to provide comfort for their heart and soul.  May Your love and mercy also be with the family of the man who lost his life.  Continue to pour out Your loving-kindness to every member of both law enforcement agencies and their families  May Your Holy Spirit draw many unto the love of Your Son in who there is everlasting life, peace and forgiveness of sins.  In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
