Our Father in Heaven, the law enforcement community across America and the world are once again grieving at the loss of another one of Your Peacemakers. Lord, our hearts are broken and our spirits are troubled at the attacks upon so many of Your peacemakers.  O’ Lord, we come with boldness before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your strength, mercy and comfort for the Elmendorf Police Department and for the family of Chief Michael Pimentel.  We are thankful that the suspect was apprehended and we ask for justice to prevail in this senseless attack upon one of Your servants of righteousness.  May You grant the Bexar County Sheriff’s investigators wisdom in order to piece together this heinous act of violence upon Chief Pimentel.  Lord, may You use this attack on Chief Pimentel and other law enforcement officers across America to rally overwhelming support for Your peacemakers who willingly place their lives in harm’s way every day.   May Your hands of protection continue to be upon law enforcement officers in every town, city, county, state and country.  May Your grace and mercies touch many hearts and forever draw them unto Your Son in whom there is everlasting life.  May every officer remember their training, use wisdom and drive safely at all times.  May they continue to rescue those in need and be a protector against evil, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
