Our Father in Heaven, As America continues to celebrate this labor day week-end, we lift  three more of Your peacemakers into Your presence.  First Lord, we are so very thankful that the lives of all of these law enforcement officers were spared by Your grace and mercy.  We first bring a wounded  an Athens-Clarke (Georgia) Police officer into Your presence to thank You for protecting him as a suspect grabbed his holstered gun.  We thank you that the injury was minor and ask for Your mercy, peace and grace to especially touch the heart and mind of this officer who had this near-death encounter.  May Your awesome grace settle upon his heart and draw him into Your presence.  Prevent him from enduring any long term emotional trauma and may You use this incident to make him and many others better law enforcement officers.  Next Lord, we lift into Your presence an injured Honolulu police Motorcycle officer and injured Virginia State Police Trooper  J.A. Vance.  Lord, whenever a law enforcement officer is on the road, we know they are in harm’s way at all times.  Father, we ask for Your Mighty touch to be upon both officers who have serious injuries.  May You provide them both with the best medical care and may You grant the doctor’s supernatural wisdom and insight to be able to accurately diagnose their injuries and render the most expeditious treatment for a total and complete recovery.  May Your awesome presence be made known to both officers and especially to their families who are at their sides supporting and loving them.  As we know the men and women of the Athens-Clarke (Georgia) Police Department, the Honolulu Police Department  and the  Virginia State Police have been deeply affected by these incidents, we ask for Your mercies and arms of love and grace to deeply touch them and draw them into Your presence.  May You use these incidents to cause many to examine their hearts and if any have strayed from Your presence, may You reveal to them Your perpetual forgiveness and love.  And if any have never received You into their hearts, may they know that now is the accepted time, that now is the day of salvation.  In the name of Jesus Christ, our  Savior and Lord, Amen.
