Our Father in Heaven,  We come into Your presence Lord as we seek Your mercies and healing touch to be upon three more of Your servants of righteousness injured in the line of duty.  Most importantly we are so very thankful  that their lives were spared.  Our Gracious Lord, we are so grateful for the hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers across the United States and the world who place their lives in harm’s way to protect and serve their communities very day.  And so Lord, we first lift up a wounded Lafayette Police Officer before Your Throne of Grace and ask for Your grace, mercy and healing power to be upon him.  May You use the many medical professionals as an extension of Your healing hands to provide the best care to this wounded officer.  May his injuries be properly diagnosed and may the correct treatment be applied to bring about a full healing and recovery.   May Your grace and mercies extend to the entire Lafayette Police Department and to the family of this wounded officer and uplift them with Your grace and peace.  We also bring before Your Throne of Grace Officer S. Cain injured in a collision and a New York City Officer who suffered smoke inhalation.  May You continue to grant the medical doctors wisdom and insight in order to properly diagnose and treat their injuries and bring about a full recovery.  May Your mercies settle upon the families of both officers and keep them in the Shadow of Your wing.  May Your amazing grace and peace gently settle on the hearts and minds of the men and women of the Gastonia Police Department and the New York City Police Department as they come together to support their injured co-workers.  May You use these life threatening incidents to cause many officers to examine their hearts and draw ever so close to You where there is forgiveness and everlasting life in Your Son.  May many receive Your Son into their hearts and may many re-dedicate their lives unto Your service.  May Your love continue to be poured out on many of Your servants, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
