Praying for the Waxahachie (Texas) Police Department
in the death of Officer Josh Williams

Our most gracious Heavenly Father, unto you Lord, we lift up the Waxahachie Police Department as they grieve the loss of a friend and colleague. We are so grateful that we can cast all of our cares unto you for we know you care for us, Lord. We thank you that we can rest in your peace and comfort during this very difficult time. May your everlasting peace descend upon the officers and his family and may your mercies sustain them through this very difficult time. We know that when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you will always be close to provide us comfort and grace. So Lord, may those grieving know they can come boldly unto your wonderful Throne of Grace to obtain and Mercy and grace in their time of need. May your peace that passes all understanding fill their hearts and minds. May you especially be with the family and comfort them. We also ask that your Holy Spirit would settle upon the drunk driver who took Ofc. William’s life and may he come to know you as Savior and Lord. May your name be glorified and may many officers and family members also come to know you in a personal way, in the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
