Our Gracious and merciful Lord,
The entire law enforcement community across America needs You more than ever Lord.  We need Your mercies, Your presence, Your grace, Your wisdom and most of all Your presence in our hearts.  Lord, it was just 16 months ago that the Bardstown (Kentucky) Police Officer Jason Ellis was ambushed and murdered in his cruiser on his way home from work.  That heinous crime has still not been solved.  And just yesterday, two more of Your servants with the Pennsylvania State Police were ambushed in which one trooper lost his life.  And even now, a massive search is underway for the suspect(s) from that cowardly act upon Your Servants.  Lord, every law enforcement officers across America need You.  May You use these incidents to cause many law enforcement officers to look inwardly and examine their hearts.   May the heart, mind and spirit of every law enforcement officer across America be drawn unto Your side where there is abundant mercies and everlasting life.  Lord, we ask You to be a supernatural Shield around every law enforcement officer at all times—whether they are on a break or in the midst of pursuit or a fight—it is only You who can ultimately keep Your servants safe from all harm.  May You protect every law enforcement officer from the Evil One—our ultimate enemy—who wants to kill, steal and destroy.  May You be the Protector of every law enforcement officer and their Strong Tower against anyone trying to attack Your servants—for Your law enforcement officers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong.  So Lord, when a law enforcement officer is attacked, we know they are actually attacking everything that is good and righteous in Your sight.  Lord, we ask YOU to go before every law enforcement officer in America.  May Your presence be made known to every law enforcement officer at all times.  Even those law enforcement officers who do not acknowledge You as their Savior and Lord, we ask for Your mercies and grace to go continually before them and grant them protection and mercy.  May Your Holy Spirit draw every law enforcement officer across America unto Your Son in whom there is everlasting life for we know that nothing can separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus.  May every law enforcement officer intimately know in their heart that, “neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  May every law enforcement officer who is struggling in their heart know You said to, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”  Lord, the entire law enforcement community across America needs to be able to finally rest in their hearts knowing the suspects in these heinous ambush attacks have been captured and brought to justice.  May You prevent any more of these senseless attacks from occurring any more.  May many law enforcement officers come to receive Your Son as their Savior and Lord.  Grant supernatural insight and wisdom to the investigators in Pennsylvania and Kentucky to apprehend the murderers of Your Servants.  We rest in the fact that You are God Almighty, the creator of Heaven and Earth for you word sayds that whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.  We rest in this promise that the suspects will reap their due reward.  May every officer know that, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress;  My God, in Him I will trust.’”   May every law enforcement officer place their Trust in YOU, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
